ABOUT ME
I'm Rhonda Shepherd, LCSWA, LCAS, CCS, and the founder of Waves of Hope. I believe that healing happens through connection, compassion, and a safe space to be seen and heard. My goal is to walk alongside you through life’s challenges with honesty, care, and hope.
I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate mental health challenges, substance use recovery, and personal transformation. Therapy with me is a collaborative journey where your story is honored and your strengths are amplified.
EXPERIENCE
I began working in the mental health and substance use field in 2006 and have over 18 years of experience supporting individuals and families. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in community mental health, addiction recovery, school-based programs, and trauma-informed care.
I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside clients from diverse backgrounds in outpatient, residential, and crisis settings. My work is rooted in respect, integrity, and a belief that everyone is capable of change. I support adults, teens, and families through issues including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, substance use, and life transitions.
